Ahmadinejadwontheelections130609The Islamic republic of Iran will not change its policy. This is the main message that comes from the results of recent elections: the Ministry of Interior reported that 65% of the preferences went to Mahmud Ahmadinejad. The result was unbridgeable defined by the Electoral Commission, while Moussavi (moderate candidate) has reported fraud.

The irregularities were carried out not only during the examination of ballots, but during the voting, when Moussavi said that millions of people could not express his preference because of the shortage of ballots. Al Arabiya television has also told about the many guardians of the Islamic Revolution of Iran that would have fallen in the street  not to leave people voting for the moderate leader. The satellite television said Mousavi supporters have openly spoken of 'coup of pasdran'

But Mir Hossein Mousavi wants to do everything to see his ratings recognized. Thus, the moderate leader has sent a letter of appeal to the supreme Iranian leader, Ali Khamenei.
The staff of the moderate candidate has explained this decision by saying that if Moussavi also accept these results, his supporters won't do that.
If the election were to be validated, the victory of Ahmadinejad could further complicate the relationship, already not good, with the rest of the world. His victory has already been considered, in fact, very worrying to Israel because it would lead "the country to oppose the Western world ". But in the balance there is also dialogue with the United States: it could be totally closed.

The election result was totally unexpected because the high voter turnout, more than 82% (first time in the last 12 years), seemed to be a phenomenon that could promote Moussavi.
So some people of Tg3 were in danger. The Iranian interpreter who was accompanying the Italian journalists has been bruised and the cameraman, Ettore Cianci, was stopped for fifteen minutes by the officials, who seized the tape with images of the clashes.
The camera crew was documenting the uprising in which hundreds of demonstrators in front of the headquarters of Moussavi challenged the election result shouting "liars, liars".
