Blame the weakest is rejected in Libya men, women and children fleeing from war and hunger and who have crossed hell to come in Europe and seek asylum. Blame the weaker is to make impossible for clandestine women to recognize their own children, who then can be adopted.

Blame the weakest is in fact to prevent illegal immigrants from going to the hospital or send their children to school,  because doctors and principals are not obliged to report them, but may do so. Blame the weakest is to fine up to 10,000 euros illegal immigrants, who if they are such obviously are also without a job or a job as a slave. Blame the weakest is to prevent illegal immigrants to send money to their families thanks to the obligation to report them for money transfer agencies. Blame the weakest is the filing of the homeless. 

Blame the weakest was the Bossi-Fini law, which makes very easy to become illegal as soon as you lose your job, but the criminalization is even worse. Blame the weakest is a way to distract the Italians from the real problems of Italy. Organized crime, the cheating of the great finance responsible of the  crisis, unemployment and precarious works now structural. 

It's disgusting propaganda because Italy is already multi-ethnic and immigration cannot be stopped, but only regulated with integration and acceptance. It's disinformation because the illegal immigrants who commit offenses do so on the recruitment and mandate of the Italian organized crime, which has control over drug trafficking, prostitution racket and receiving stolen goods. And the only antidote to crime is integration, not criminalization. It's brazen populism because these laws are simply ineffective. Declare that thousands of illegal immigrants are criminal does not mean that you will be able to send them all to their country of origin, or that you want really do it. 

But to blame the most vulnerable, mostly, is cowardly.
