GoogleInternet is not a place where everything is allowed and although nothing can be prohibited on the Web, "there are laws that codify behaviors and create obligations"  which, if are not obeyed, lead to criminal liability. These were the words used by Judge Oscar Magi to justify the sentence that the court in Milan has imposed, on February 24th, on three Google managers.

FrancomotcontestProbably this morning, after waking up, you turned on the "computer", yout took a look at your "emails" or you started "chatting" with a friend. You will probably subscribe a "newsletter", and as true fans of the network, you will update your "blog". So, in a few minutes, you will have to do with English words (computer, email, chat, blog, newsletter) that have entered in every language. But French people, you know, don't really like talking another language. And they never really liked the English words in their vocabulary.

suicidioonlineIn provincia di Treviso, ieri, è apparsa una notizia particolare, sintomatica dei tempi in cui viviamo. Un ragazzo di diciassette anni si è iscritto, su Facebook, a un gruppo che promuoveva il suicidio. Dopo poco tempo lo stesso ragazzo si è effettivamente tolto la vita. Subito dopo gli amici del giovane hanno iniziato a tempestare il suddetto gruppo di insulti e improperi. Cerchiamo di analizzare la situazione.

GoogleCinaIl rapporto tra Google e la Cina è stato complicato fin dall’inizio, quando il colosso di internet per essere autorizzato a operare sul mercato cinese ha accettato di filtrare alcune ricerche. In pratica dal sito sparivano magicamente siti o termini tabù per il regime, come Tibet o Xinjiang. Ma ora il tempo del collaborazionismo con la censura di regime potrebbe essere finito. Perché Google minaccia di abbandonare la Cina.
