The Contitution must be regarded, not as a dead law, should be considered, and it is, as a political program. The Constitution contains in itself a political agreement, which became law, and which it is mandatory to carry out.

It isn't normal that the italian government changes the rules on the electoral rolls as it pleases to remedy the serious irregularities committed by the ruling parties. It is not normal a prime minister on trial for corruption, which was saved from prison because he put his lawyers in Parliament to make laws for him. It is not normal the censorship of television programs because the government does not want journalists to talk about Berlusconi's scandals and trials.

When they started to talk about the first strike of immigrants, in December, it seemed a pipe dream. Today, however, the protest is on. Twenty-four hours in which not only
caregivers but also masons, teachers, nurses, doctors, politicians
and journalists, all immigrants, are crossing their arms. A protest born in France, thanks to journalist Nadia Lamarkbi, and then resumed in Italy and in Europe, too.

Each week a new italian scandal emerges from the investigations of the judiciary. For politicians who are under investigation, of whom the prime minister is the leader and a perfect example, this happens because the judges are "Talibans" and have in mind some subversive project. Obviously politicians cannot say that corruption has reached such a level in Italy that now the mud comes out from everywhere.

It won't be an event as big as the No-B Day, on the 5th December of 2009. Or at least the organizers say this for superstition. But people against Berlusconi are returning to demonstrate tomorrow, February 27, at
Piazza del Popolo in Rome, at 2 pm. All together to shout "That's Enough!" at Berlusconi laws and his majority and to demand respect for the Constitution.

The days of the "junk without shame" seem so far away, but the story take place again. In Lombardy, for the next elections, has won a secure place in the regional council the premier's dental hygienist. Nicole Minetti is a handsome young woman who claims to be appropriate to the role. The real problem, perhaps, is her knowledge.

Once upon a time there was the political left, with its different nuances. Communism, socialism, radical liberalism, social Christianity and many others. All united by the fact that they opposed the status quo and wanted a radical change in society. They wanted more freedom, more civil rights, more equality, often in a confused way and without a coherent program, but one thing at least was clear: the left would fight for a different, and better world.

Corruption and prostitution of all kinds were widespread in ancient Rome, as we know from the testimony of the authors of the time, and in 2000 years it seems that in Italy nothing has changed. This country is still in the hands of bandits, the jackals and profiteers. A significant part of the rulers who should represent the people spend their time between parties, prostitutes and drugs.

There are no translations available.

In countries with a civil and democratic government a leader would not dare to use foreigners, immigrants or any other class as scapegoats. The free press, something that democratic countries have, would bury him within half a day. The indignation of his own voters would force him to resign almost immediately. But in dictatorships is normal to spread hatred and racism to distract the population. It's done and was done by all the dictators of the world.

On 23 January more than 20,000 people demonstrated in Val di Susa against the High Speed Rail, the new railway line decided by the European Union in 1994. To build it will be spent 17 billion euros, of which 10 should come from the Italian state. The infrastructure will move 120 million tons of goods, even if the actual demand expected in 2020 is only 40 tons.
