Illegal immigrants
The immigration issue is dealt with a complete bad faith in Western politics, information and  society. It is said that immigration leads to an increase in crimes, even if it's not at all true. We talk about problems of cohabitation, jobs, hospitality, but we never hear the real reason why immigrants arrive in rich countries. The truth is that for the economic system, immigrants are a godsend.

Companies and industries large and small in western countries have gained huge amounts of money by exploiting immigrants. And even western families have had domestic helpers and caregivers at a price much lower than they should have pay to their fellow citizens. There are countries like Italy, a million illegal immigrants, Spain, half a million, or the United States, 11 million, when entire economic sectors sustain themselves on immigrant labor, such as construction and agriculture. If we really wanted to eliminate illegal immigration, the first thing to do would be to prevent these areas from employing workers illegally. But if we did that then these sectors would no longer be competitive and would have difficulty surviving.
Also because in Western countries agriculture is protected by massive public funding and tariff barriers that make it possible to perpetuate anti-economic crops that should be imported from abroad, where they cost much less. The whole immigration issue on which the Western media talk a lot without ever telling the truth is nothing but an elaborate charade to deceive the public.

Who has the economic power in western countries does not want to say this simple truth: "We have a huge gain to let come men and women that we can exploit with impunity, but we haven't the courage to tell our voters that we would never pay 100 to one of our fellow citizen when we can pay 50 a foreigner to do the same work. So from time to time we pretend to oppose immigration, deport back some poor unfortunate to his country and for the rest we continue business as usual". This is the reality of things, whilst the rest is just propaganda.
Sometimes the politicians fall victim to their own nonsense and say that immigration is a threat. But really it would be possible to manage immigration in a more sensible and humane way. Would be enough to allow people to come legally, with minimal barriers to entry. And to limit the amount of immigrants and protect the domestic labor market, assuming that this is really necessary for the economy, would be sufficient to take action against illegal work. Instead inhuman laws are passed, with which immigrants drown at sea or die in the desert, boys and girls who have always lived in a country should be deported to a country of origin about which they know nothing, young people fleeing from countries at war die trying come to the west and those who would like to return to their country are precluded from doing so because they fear that then could not go back. An economic and social disaster that does not help anyone. But until the politicians and the information will continue to talk nonsense, the public will go on believing in a flood of lies.
